meet Justus
I'm Justus Carlile, founder and broker of Makin' Moves Realty LLC.
I grew up in Pilot Point, graduated from Baylor University, and have spent most of my professional life working in sales, construction, and real estate throughout North Texas.
I got into real estate in 2016, and founded Makin' Moves because I believed there was a better way to serve clients. Not necessarily a bigger way, a flashier way, or a more complicated way. Just a better one.
One built around relationships instead of volume. One where clients receive straightforward advice, have a direct line of communication, and know someone is taking ownership of the details.
My background has taught me that every transaction is a little different. Sometimes the best move is negotiating harder. Sometimes it's finding a creative solution. And sometimes it's telling a client something they may not want to hear.
That's part of the job, too.
I've also had the opportunity to serve in leadership positions within local and state REALTOR® organizations. That involvement keeps me connected to the issues shaping our industry, from property rights and professional standards to the changing needs of buyers and sellers.
I believe being a good real estate professional means more than knowing the market. It means understanding people, anticipating challenges, and doing the right thing even when it's not the easiest thing.
